Here’s how to get started:

Step 1: Connect to the Server

• IP: play.sky-grid.net

• Version: Minecraft 1.21+

• Game Mode: SkyGrid Survival

Make sure your Minecraft client is updated to 1.21 or higher before joining!

Step 2: Enter the SkyGrid

Once connected, you’ll spawn into the chaotic grid world made of scattered blocks from every biome, structure, and loot table.

Start by:

• Carefully jumping from block to block

• Gathering wood and basic materials

• Opening your first join kit to get a head start

️ Step 3: Claim Your Land

To prevent griefing and secure your builds, use the Golden Shovel to claim land.

How Land Claims Work:

• Start with 250 claim blocks

• Earn +25 claim blocks every hour you’re online

• Right-click two opposite corners with a Golden Shovel

• Visual markers (gold/glowstone) will show your claim borders

• Use /trust [name] to let friends build

• Use /abandonclaim to remove a claim

• Use /claimslist to view your active claims

Claims protect against block breaking, placing, chest theft, and griefing
PvP is allowed in claimed land, but other forms of griefing are not

Step 4: Survive & Expand

• Set your base with /sethome

• Use /kit [name] to access your daily rank kits

• Gather gear, build sky bases, and master the floating chaos

• Unlock perks and extras via the Coin Shop

To keep the server fun, fair, and safe for everyone, please follow the rules below. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.

General Rules

1. Be respectful.
   Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, slurs, or excessive toxicity will not be tolerated.

2. No griefing or stealing.

   • Breaking or modifying someone else's build is not allowed — even in unclaimed areas.

   • You may PvP (kill) players inside claimed land, but any form of griefing (block destruction, lava trapping, chest looting, etc.) is not allowed.

3. No cheating or exploits.
   Clients/mods that give unfair advantages (x-ray, killaura, auto-clickers, etc.) are strictly prohibited.
   If it feels like cheating — it probably is.

4. No spamming or advertising.
   Don't flood chat, use CAPS excessively, or advertise other servers, services, or Discords.

5. No impersonation.
   Do not pretend to be staff, other players, or notable creators.

6. Keep content appropriate.
   No NSFW skins, builds, or inappropriate signs/chat.

Gameplay & Server Conduct

1. Use common sense.
   Don’t look for loopholes — play fair, be decent.

2. Respect staff decisions.
   Staff have the final say in any situation. You may appeal respectfully if needed.

3. English only in public chat.
   Private messages are fine, but public chat should stay English so everyone can follow.

4. No lag machines.
   Don’t build redstone clocks, piston spam, or mob farms that hurt server performance.

5. One account per player.
   Alts for AFKing or farming are not allowed.

️ Punishments

• Warnings are issued at staff discretion.

• Temporary bans or permanent bans may occur depending on severity.

• Ban evasion or repeat offenses escalate quickly.

Allowed Client Mods

Allowed:

• OptiFine

• Shaders

• Mini-maps (no entity radar)

• Inventory Tweaks

• FullBright

Disallowed:

• X-ray

• Macros / auto-clickers

• PvP hacks (Killaura, Reach, etc.)

• Fly/Speed hacks

• Anything that plays for you
